Synqly Adds Datadog Cloud SIEM to Ecosystem for Security and Observability Integrations

We are sharing that a new integration is live within the Synqly integration ecosystem. As modern security operations teams require unified visibility across their cloud infrastructure and applications, we continue to expand our library of supported connectors. We have introduced Datadog Cloud SIEM as a supported provider. OEM customers can now integrate with Datadog Cloud SIEM through the Synqly ecosystem. This addition enables security vendors to seamlessly interact with a leading cloud-scale observability platform, creating immediate value for end users who rely on Datadog for their security and log management needs.
Datadog is a cloud-scale observability and security platform that provides infrastructure monitoring, application performance management, log management, and cloud security capabilities in a unified SaaS platform. By bringing together operational metrics and security signals, Datadog allows teams to break down silos and correlate security events with infrastructure changes. As a supported provider in the SIEM category, Datadog serves as a critical destination and source for security data, making it an essential integration for any vendor generating security telemetry or building incident response workflows.
Synqly customers can use this integration to perform vital bi-directional data functions within their own products. The connector is specifically designed to function within the SIEM category, enabling vendors to write batches of event objects directly to a customer’s Datadog instance using the Post Events capability. In addition to functioning as a destination, vendors can also query alerts, retrieve specific alert details, and query available log providers. By using these capabilities, security vendors can ensure their tools have the most accurate, real-time security intelligence and can seamlessly push their own telemetry into Datadog’s unified platform. The integration handles the authentication and connection management, ensuring that the data pipeline remains robust and secure without requiring the vendor to manage the underlying API complexity.
The value of this connector lies in its ability to bridge the gap between product telemetry and centralized observability. By integrating through the Synqly unified API, we enable our OEM customers to support Datadog Cloud SIEM as both a source of intelligence and a destination for events without building a custom adapter. Customers can now deliver a streamlined experience in which their product data is automatically formatted for Datadog, while simultaneously pulling critical alert data back into their own interfaces. This efficiency allows product teams to focus on generating high-quality security insights rather than maintaining infrastructure for complex API interactions.
For those interested in implementing this new capability, we have provided documentation to guide you through the setup process. You can find detailed instructions for configuring the connector and using the available endpoints in our documentation. We encourage all current and prospective customers to explore how they can enhance their product offerings by using this new integration.
